Marinated Mushrooms
1/2 pound of fresh mushrooms 1/4 teaspoon of salt (I use garlic salt) Ground pepper to taste 1/2 teaspoon of crushed oregano 3 tablespoons of wine vinegar 1/4 to 1/2 cup of olive oil |

Cut ends from stems of mushrooms. Then wash, dry and slice. Mix the other ingredients; add to mushrooms and toss until well coated. Let stand at room temperature for several hours. Serve with toothpicks. Marinated Mushrooms 2
2 pounds of mushrooms 1/2 bottle Italian dressing 1/2 cup of dry white wine 1 minced clove garlic 1 chopped onion
Clean fresh mushrooms. Simmer mushrooms in salad dressing mixture for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Chill overnight in sauce. Drain and serve with toothpicks. |
