
| Stir Fry Beef
2 tablespoons of oil 1 pound of beef, cut in thin strips 1 clove garlic, pressed 2 teaspoons of soy sauce 2 teaspoons of sherry 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 teaspoon of ginger 1 cup of celery, cut diagonally 1 cup of onion wedges, separated 1/2 cup of green onions, cut in 1-inch pieces 1/2 cup of carrots, sliced thinly on angle 1/2 cup of mushrooms, sliced 1 small can of baby corn 1/2 teaspoon of pepper 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce |

Combine soy, sherry, sugar, ginger. Coat beef and marinade for 15 minutes. Heat oil in pan or wok. Add garlic. Fry 30 seconds. Remove meat from marinade if any remains reserve. Fry in hot oil 2-3 minutes until brown. Add celery, onions, green onions and carrots. Fry 3 minutes. Add mushrooms and baby corn. Fry 2 minutes. Pepper. Add oyster sauce to any remaining marinade. If none remains, then add alone. Add to stir-fry, toss and serve. |
