Homemade Chili
2 quart jars of tomatoes (not drained) 3 pounds of ground beef 2 tablespoons of chili powder 2 teaspoons of salt 2 cans of kidney beans 2 large onions, chopped finely Cheddar cheese |

Brown ground beef in large pot with a small amount of butter or margarine. Drain if necessary. Place back in large pot and add tomatoes, chili powder, salt, onion and kidney beans. Stir well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. Serve while hot with Cheddar cheese on top. Serves 6. |
