Four Alarm Chili
1 large onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine 3 tablespoons of salad oil 2 pounds of sirloin, cut into 1/2-inch cubes One 4 ounces of can green chiles 10 ounces of can beef broth Small can of tomato paste 1 teaspoon of oregano 2 teaspoons of ground cumin Chili powder to taste 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans with liquid |

Sauté onion and garlic in oil until transparent. Add beef cubes; brown. Stir in chiles, broth, tomato paste, oregano, cumin, chili powder. Cook in crock pot on low 7-8 hours. Add beans with liquid 1/2 hour before serving. |
