Soul Food Seasoning Why buy a generic version in the store, when you can make your own? If you want a greater quantity of this seasoning on hand, simple double or triple the quantities. 1 tablespoon of ground red pepper
3 tablespoons of garlic powder
3 tablespoons of onion powder
1 tablespoon of dried chili powder
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of thyme powder

2 tablespoons of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of onion powder
2 tablespoons of dark chili powder
1 tablespoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of thyme powder
1 teaspoon of freshly-ground black pepper
Mix ingredients together and store in a sealed container. This spicy seasoning can be used on just about anything. This recipe yields about 3/4 cup.
