Nigerian Mango Salad 1 cup of water 1/3 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of lime juice 5 ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed 2 cups of chink pineapple 4 bananas, sliced coconut (optional) |
Instructions: Mix the water, sugar and lime juice together in a bowl. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Place the mangoes, pineapple and bananas in a large bowl. Pour the lime mixture over the fruit. Cover and allow the mixture to chill for one to two hours. If desired, garnish with coconut. |
