Fried Grits 2
This can be prepared using leftover grits or if no leftovers prepare the grits according to the instructions on the box. If making the grits fresh, after they are prepared pour them into a cold rinsed mold or loaf pan and allow them to cool down. Once cold, just slice the grits into 1/2 strips and sauté in butter or bacon drippings, until slightly crisp and golden. Serve with a fried ham, hash browns and blueberry muffins. |
