Molasses Bread 1

3 cups of self rising flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 stick of margarine
2 eggs
1/2 cup of molasses
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
3/4 cup of buttermilk

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Sift the flour and salt together, set aside. Cream the margarine and sugar and eat in the eggs. Stir in the molasses. Dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk, then add the buttermilk to the creamed mixture and mix well. Combine with the flour and salt. Pour into an 8 by 8 inch pan and bake for 30 minutes.
