| Hearty Sausage & Sauerkraut Dinner
1/2 pound of Polish sausage (Kielbasa), cut into 1/2" slices 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed cream of celery soup 1 1/2 cup of water 8 ounce can of sauerkraut, drained & rinsed 1 teaspoon of brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon of Caraway seed 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper 1 1/2 cup of dry rice |

Brown sausage in a skillet; drain fat. Stir in soup, water, sauerkraut, sugar, caraway seed and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in rice. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork. Makes 4 servings. Back to Sauerkraut recipes |
