| Almond Rice Pilaf
2 1/2 cups of water 1/4 cup of unsalted margarine 2 cups of precooked rice 2 tablespoons of chopped onion 1/2 cup of slivered almonds 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves 1/4 cup of dark seedless raisins |

Combine water and margarine in large saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in rice, onion, cinnamon, garlic and cloves; remove from heat, cover, and let stand 5 minutes. Stir in raisins and almonds before serving. |
