Turkey Stuffed Green Peppers

1 pound of ground turkey 1/2 cup of instant rice 1/2 cup of carrots, grated 1/4 cup of onion, chopped 3 tablespoons of parsley, chopped 1 to 2 Cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon of dried oregano leaves 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper one 8 ounce can of tomato sauce 2 large green peppers |

1. In a medium bowl combine turkey, rice, carrot, onion, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Mix to blend thoroughly. 2. Cut each pepper in half lengthwise. Remove and discard seeds and membranes. 3. Divide turkey mixture between peppers. Place in a baking dish and cover. 4. Bake in a preheated 350ºF. oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165ºF. and the peppers are tender.
