| Herb Basted Cornish Hens
2 Cornish hens (about 1 1/2 lb. each) Ground pepper, optional Stuffing, optional 2 packages of butter buds 1/2 cup of water 1/4 cup of dry white wine 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice 2 teaspoons of tarragon 3 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Season hens with pepper. You may stuff the hens with dressing if you wish. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over hens in roaster. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Baste occasionally with the sauce. |
