
| Buffalo Style Chicken Wings
24 wings about 4 pounds Salt & pepper (optional) 4 cups of cooking oil 1/4 cup of butter 2 to 5 teaspoons of hot sauce 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
BLUE CHEESE DRESSING
1 cup of mayonnaise 2 tablespoons of onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped 1/2 cup of sour cream 1 tablespoon of lemon juice & white vinegar 1/4 cup of crumbled bleu cheese Salt & pepper to taste |

Cut off tips and separate wings at joint; sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. Heat oil in deep fat fryer or large heavy pot. When quite hot, add 1/2 wings and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. When wings are golden brown and crisp, remove and drain well. Add rest of wings; repeat process. Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan; add hot sauce, to taste and vinegar. Pour sauce over wings and mix well to cover. Serve with Blue Cheese Dressing and celery sticks.
BLUE CHEESE DIP: Combine above ingredients and chill for 1 hour before serving. |
