Baked Chicken Wings

One 10 ounce bottle of soy sauce
2 teaspoons of freshly grated ginger or 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of dark mustard
24 whole chicken wings
Garlic powder

 

Mix the soy sauce, ginger, minced garlic, brown sugar, and mustard together. Blend well. Marinade the chicken wings in this mixture for at least 2 hours. Drain the wings, reserving the marinade. Preheat your oven to 350º. Place the wings in a baking dish and bake for 1 1/2 hours, turning and basting with the marinade frequently. Discard any leftover marinade. Sprinkle with garlic powder and broil wings for 1 to 2 minutes, until crispy. Remove from the heat and serve. Serves 8 to 12
