| Green Tomatillo Sauce
1 medium onion finely chopped 2 tablespoons of salad oil 1/4 cup of finely chopped blanched almonds 2 cans (10 oz. each) tomatillos 1 tablespoon of minced cilantro 3 tablespoons of minced green chiles 2 cups of regular strength chicken broth |
| Put all in a blender and blend until fairly fine. Simmer until sauce has thickened and reduced to 2 1/2 cups. This sauce should not be too spicy hot. Back to Mexican recipes |
