1 cup of sugar 1/2 pound of margarine (1 c.) 1 egg, separated 2 scant cups of flour 4 teaspoons of cinnamon 1 cup of chopped pecans 1/2 cup of sugar
Combine margarine and 1 cup sugar; cream well. Add egg yolk, cinnamon, and flour. Spread on cookie sheet and pat smooth. Pour unbeaten egg white on top of dough. Spread around. Sprinkle pecans and 1/2 cup sugar on top. Bake 10 minutes at 400ºF. Cut in squares while warm.
