 
| Jewish Apple Pie
3 cups of flour 2 1/2 cups of sugar 1 cup of oil 4 eggs 1/2 teaspoon of salt 2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla 1/2 cups of orange juice (diluted) 3 teaspoons of baking powder Either 5 peeled apples or can of apple pie filling |

Mix all ingredients; put 1/2 batter in 10-inch tube pan and spread apples, then put rest of batter on top. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour until done. If using peeled apples, sprinkle with 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar before putting on batter. |
