Cut the cantaloupe in half. Scoop out the seeds and cut each half into 4 wedges. Cut off the outer rind. Arrange the cantaloupe in a large shallow bowl or on a deep platter. Pour the wine over the melon. Sprinkle lightly with the ground cinnamon. cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour, or just long enough to chill the melon slightly. Makes 4 servings |
