2 pounds of ground beef One 28 ounce can of tomatoes, chopped and undrained One 16 ounce can of pinto or kidney beans 1 cup of finely chopped onion 1 can tomato sauce 2 medium sized carrots, peeled and grated Chili seasoning to taste Mild cheese, grated |

Cook beef and onions until beef is brown, drain. Add all other ingredients except beans, simmer 45 minutes and add beans and heat. Ladle into serving bowl and top with cheese. Serve with corn bread or crackers. Makes 2 1/2 quarts. |
