7 cups of flour 10 eggs 1 orange pulp & skin, grated 7 tablespoons of baking powder 2 cups of sugar Dash of salt 1 tablespoon of vanilla 1 cup of shortening 1 cup of walnuts, chopped
Icing:
3 tablespoon of butter, softened with vanilla extract
CAKE:
Mix all ingredients together. Blend well. Use electric mixer. Stir in nuts. Shape into 2 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Bake 7 to 10 minutes. Cookies should be light colored, not brown. Remove from cookie sheets and cool.
ICING:
Add powdered sugar and milk to make creamy icing. Spread on cooled cookies.
