Cook the ground beef in a 10 inch skillet until brown, stirring occasionally. Drain. Add the tomato sauce, green pepper, salt and pepper. Set aside. Combine the cooked noodles and cheese sauce in a medium bowl. Mix well. Place half the noodle mixture in the bottom of a 10 x 7 inch baking dish. Add all of the ground beef mixture. Spread evenly. Top with the remaining noodles. Bake at 350ºF. for 20 minutes until heated through. Garnish with parsley. Makes 6 servings. |
