Bratwurst with Apple Kraut
4 Tart apples, peeled & cored one 27 ounce can of sauerkraut 1 pound of Bratwurst links, halved 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon of caraway seed In a crockery cooker, stir together all ingredients. Stir in 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3 - 4 hours. Makes 6 servings. |
