Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients except the oil and fresh mint leaves and knead thoroughly with your hands. Form the mixture into small cylindrical kabobs, about 3 inches by 1 inch. Pour enough oil to cover the bottom of a large frying pan. Over moderate heat, fry the kefta, turning frequently, until they are nicely browned on the outside, but still slightly pink on the inside.
