Low Calorie Granola

Low Calorie Granola

6 cups of rolled oats
1 cup of sesame seeds
1 cup of wheat germ
1 cup of powdered milk
1 cup of coconut
1 cup of nuts
1 cup of oil
1 cup of honey
2 cup of raisins or other dried fruit


Spray a baking pan with non stick cooking spray. Combine ingredients. Heat oil and honey until warm enough to mix. Do not boil. Pour syrup over dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly and place in 225ºF.  oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours, lifting and mixing with wooden spoon every 20 minutes until golden. Cool and add raisins (or any combination of dried fruit you like). Mix well and store in airtight jars in the refrigerator. Makes 5 quarts.
